Greening Western Queens Free Kids Bike Swap – Help neighborhood families swap their smaller or older kids bike for a larger, refurbished kids bike from our workshops free of charge. We’ll also be checking and repairing kids bikes that are traded in. All safe, leftover kids bikes will be given away at the end of the day.
Fix-A-Flat workshops– Help teach community members and students how to overcome the most common problem to vex a cyclist: the flat tire. Queens Library will be giving away free patch kits at the end of the workshop
Lend a hand, meet others, and learn basic bike mechanics, free of charge. No previous experience necessary! All are welcome!
